Thousands of schools and coaching institutions across the country rely on Examin8 Test Generator to effortlessly create question papers, worksheets, and conduct online assessments. However, many educators and institutions have shared a common request with us: they want their students to access tests and study materials directly from their own websites, without ever knowing that a third-party platform like Examin8 is involved.

We’re thrilled to announce that this is now possible!

With our latest update, Examin8 Test Generator can now be seamlessly integrated into your own website. This means your students will no longer have to navigate away from your platform to attempt tests, access study materials, or watch learning videos. Everything—from test creation to learning content—will be available directly on your website, under your branding.

How Does It Work?

The process is simple and takes just a few minutes:

  1. Create a Subdomain: We’ll ask you to create a subdomain (e.g., exams.yourschool.com) within your existing website.
  2. Update CNAME Record: Next, you’ll update the CNAME record in your domain settings to point to the Examin8 platform.
  3. Customize Your Portal: You’ll have the option to fully customize the integrated portal—add your institute’s name, logo, and address to maintain consistent branding.

Once completed, students can log in, take tests, view study materials, and watch learning videos without ever leaving your website. Your brand stays front and centre, while we handle the technical aspects in the background.

Key Differences Explained

1. Brand Identity

  • Examin8 Portal: When students take a test, they are aware they are using a third-party tool. While you can add your logo to the test papers, the “home” they visit is clearly an Examin8 platform.
  • Own Domain: This is a “White-Label” solution. The student interacts with your brand throughout the entire journey—from logging in to viewing results. This builds significantly higher authority for your institute.

2. User Journey & Retention

  • Examin8 Portal: Students must remember a different URL or download the generic Examin8 app. This break in the user journey can sometimes lead to confusion.
  • Own Domain: It eliminates the “navigation gap.” Because the exam portal is just a subdomain of your main site, like exams.yourschool.comStudents feel they are always on your official platform.

3. Professionalism for Parents/Students

  • Examin8 Portal: Common for smaller tutors or individual teachers.
  • Own Domain: Preferred by established schools and coaching centres. It gives the impression that the institute has its own high-end technology infrastructure.

4. Technical Implementation

  • Examin8 Portal: You just share a link.
  • Own Domain: You (or your web developer) must create a subdomain and point the CNAME record to Examin8. Once the “handshake” between your domain and their server is done, Examin8 handles the hosting and security in the background.

Which one should you choose?

  • Choose Standalone (Examin8) if you are just starting out, have a very limited budget, or don’t have your own institute website yet.
  • Choose Your Own Domain if you have an existing website, want to grow your brand, and want to provide a premium, “all-in-one” experience where students never have to leave your site to study or take tests.
Feature Standalone (Examin8 Portal) Integrated (Your Own Domain)
Website URL web.examin8.com exams.yourinstitute.com
Branding Limited. Students see Examin8’s name and interface. Full. Your logo, name, and address are prominent; Examin8 is hidden.
Student Experience Redirects students away from your main site. Seamless. Students stay within your digital ecosystem.
Trust & Credibility Looks like a third-party service. Looks like a custom-built, professional portal.
Setup Process Instant; no configuration needed. Requires a CNAME record update in your domain settings.
Cost Included in standard packages. One-time setup fee (₹3,000) + Annual fee (₹5,000).*
Accessibility Students log in via the Examin8 app/web. Students access everything directly via your website.

What are the Charges?

The Exam Portal Integration for the Examin8 Test Generator is designed to help educational institutions deliver a smooth, professional, and fully branded online assessment experience. This integration allows schools and coaching institutes to seamlessly connect their existing exam portal with the Examin8 Test Generator, ensuring consistency in user experience while maintaining complete control over their digital learning environment. Whether your goal is operational efficiency or strengthening your brand presence, this solution supports high-quality, uninterrupted online testing.

The integration involves a one-time setup charge of ₹3,000 plus 18% GST, which covers the complete configuration and technical alignment of your exam portal with the Examin8 Test Generator. In addition, there is an annual subscription fee of ₹5,000 plus 18% GST, making the total cost ₹8,000 plus 18% GST for the first year. The annual subscription remains valid for one year from the date of purchase and includes continued access to integration features and support.

From the second year onward, institutions can renew the integration by paying an annual renewal fee of ₹5,000 plus 18% GST. Please note that the Examin8 Test Generator itself is a separate subscription and is not included in the integration charges. This pricing structure ensures flexibility, allowing institutions to scale their digital assessment ecosystem while paying only for the services they require.

How Will It Look?

To help you envision the experience, we’ve prepared a short video that demonstrates how the integrated interface will look and function on your website. You’ll see how smooth the student experience can be—clean, intuitive, and fully branded to your institution.

By offering this level of integration, we’re ensuring that your students stay engaged within your digital ecosystem while benefiting from the power of Examin8’s test creation and management tools.

While conducting online tests, you may have encountered an issue where the student is not able to attempt the quiz for any reason. In that case, if you would like to give him another chance to attempt the test from the beginning, you can now delete his existing attempt. So that the student can attempt the test again.

Delete Attempt

Here are the steps to delete a student’s quiz attempt:

  1. Go to MY PAPERS, then click on ACTIONS and then RESULT.
  2. Now, below the student’s name, click MORE
  3. Then tick the checkbox and press the DELETE ATTEMPT button there.

Delete Attempt on Test Generator

Delete Attempt Vs Allow Re-attempt

Allowing a re-attempt means the student can resume the ongoing test without losing the responses that he has already marked. Means, already attempted questions will be there and students need to attempt only the remaining questions. So, it’s a much better option compared to the Delete Attempt option.

On the other hand, in case of a Delete Attempt, all the responses/answers will be deleted and the student has to attempt all the questions again. This option should be used only if you want to allow students to take the test again.

What is recommended?

  • If a student’s test duration has expired but the quiz end time has not yet passed:
In such cases, you may delete the student’s current attempt and allow them to retake the test, ensuring they are aware of the quiz end time.
Example: If the test duration is 3 hours and the quiz end time is set beyond that (e.g., 5 hours later), and the student’s time has lapsed within that window, you may delete the attempt and allow a fresh retake.
  • If the student still has time left in their test duration and has answered several questions, but the test was mistakenly submitted:
You can allow a re-attempt. In this scenario, previously answered questions will be retained, and the student will only need to complete the unanswered ones.

What is Process Quiz?

“Process Quiz” option to instantly generate the result. This option becomes available only when the test duration has elapsed and the attempt has not been submitted successfully.

There is no need to delete the student’s attempt. Simply click the “Process Quiz” button to view and record the results.

Comparison Table

Status Recommended Action
Test submitted by mistake, but the test duration is not over. Allow Re-attempt
The test duration is over, but the test was not submitted successfully. Process Quiz
The test duration is over, but the quiz end time is still there. Delete Attempt

How to Fix PDF Download/Sharing Issues from Examin8 Test Generator on Google Chrome (Android Devices)

If you’ve recently encountered issues while trying to download or share PDFs from the Examin8 Test Generator using Google Chrome on your Android device, you’re not alone. A recent Chrome update is causing the browser to automatically open PDF files inline, instead of giving you the option to share or download them. This behavior can disrupt your workflow, especially when using tools like Examin8 that rely on seamless PDF generation and sharing.

Thankfully, there’s a quick fix for this issue. By tweaking a hidden setting in Chrome, you can disable the inline PDF viewer and restore the sharing functionality.

✅ Step-by-Step Guide to Fix PDF Sharing Issue on Chrome Android

Follow the steps below carefully:

  1. Open the Google Chrome browser on your Android device.
⚠ Make sure it’s the Chrome browser—not the Google Search app.
  2. In the URL bar, type the following exactly as shown:
    chrome://flags

⚠ Do NOT type this into a search box; it must be the URL field.

  3. In the Search flags bar at the top, type:
    PDF

  4. You’ll now see options related to PDF functionality.
    • Locate the first two entries related to “PDF Viewer” or “PDF Inline.”
    • Change the setting from Default to Disabled for both.
  5. Scroll down and tap on the “Relaunch” button at the bottom of the screen.
This will restart Chrome and apply the changes.

🔁 Important Reminders

  • Always use Chrome browser, not Google Search.
  • Enter chrome://flags in lowercase and only in the URL bar.
  • Make sure you disable both PDF inline options, not just one.
  • You must tap the “Relaunch” button for the new settings to take effect.

🎥 Video Tutorial Available

Need visual guidance? Check out our step-by-step video tutorial to help you fix this PDF issue on your Android device.

By following the steps above, you’ll be able to bypass the inline PDF viewing behavior and get back to downloading and sharing your PDFs from the Examin8 Test Generator without interruption.

    ⚠ Google Search ऐप नहीं खोलें।
  2. Chrome के URL बार में टाइप करें:
    chrome://flags

    ⚠ ध्यान दें: इसे सर्च बार में नहीं, बल्कि URL बार में ही टाइप करें।

  3. अब ऊपर दिए गए Search flags बॉक्स में टाइप करें:
    PDF

In the fast-evolving world of education, where digital transformation is the new norm, teachers and educational institutions are constantly seeking smarter, faster, and more reliable tools to enhance academic delivery. One such groundbreaking solution is Examin8, an online platform designed to revolutionize how schools and coaching centers create assessments. As the tagline suggests, “Smart Teacher Ki Smart Choice”, Examin8 is built with the 21st-century educator in mind — efficient, intelligent, and results-oriented.

The Challenge: Manual Paper Creation – A Time Sink

Traditionally, generating question papers has been a laborious and time-consuming task. Teachers spend 3 to 4 hours on average compiling balanced question sets, aligning them with syllabus guidelines, ensuring difficulty variation, formatting, proofreading, and printing. This manual approach not only eats into valuable teaching time but also increases the risk of errors and inconsistencies.

For institutions preparing students for competitive exams like JEE, NEET, CUET, NDA, SSC, and RRB, the challenge multiplies. They require frequent mock tests, chapter-wise assessments, and topic-specific question papers — all aligned with the latest exam patterns. With the academic pressure intensifying, how can educators deliver quality assessments, consistently and quickly?

The Solution: Examin8 – Test Generator in Just 2 Minutes

Enter Examin8.com — a cutting-edge test generator designed to reduce the question paper creation time from hours to just 2 minutes. Yes, you read that right. With Examin8, educators can generate fully customized and syllabus-aligned question papers online, ready to print or conduct digitally.

This isn’t just another exam software; it’s a complete assessment automation tool backed by a powerful databank of over 10,00,000+ curated questions. From multiple choice questions to subjective answers, from CBSE-aligned papers to competitive exam modules, Examin8 handles it all with a few clicks.

Why Smart Teachers Choose Examin8

Let’s explore why Examin8 is quickly becoming the go-to solution for schools and institutes across India.

1. Lightning Fast Paper Creation

Using advanced algorithms, Examin8 enables teachers to generate a complete question paper in under 2 minutes. Simply select the subject, class, topic, and difficulty level, and the platform auto-generates a structured, printable exam. Say goodbye to copy-paste marathons and late-night editing.

2. Massive Question Bank

Examin8 hosts a massive databank of 10,00,000+ questions, carefully categorized and tagged. These cover academic subjects for CBSE schools as well as competitive exams like JEE, NEET, CUET, NDA, SSC, and RRB. The variety ensures teachers can build unique and fresh question papers every time.

3. Customization and Branding

One standout feature of Examin8 is the ability to generate question papers with your institution’s name and logo. Whether it’s a mock test or final exam, the paper reflects your school’s branding, adding a layer of professionalism and trust.

4. Smart Question Selection

Examin8’s intelligent engine ensures the selection of questions based on difficulty levels, chapter weightage, and exam pattern. This guarantees a balanced and well-structured test — essential for both internal assessments and competitive exam practice.

5. Ready for Online Exams

Beyond offline exams, Examin8 also supports online exams, allowing institutions to conduct tests digitally. In the post-pandemic education world, where blended learning is here to stay, having this flexibility is invaluable.

6. Supports Multiple Boards and Exams

Whether you’re a CBSE school or a coaching center training students for NDA, SSC, or RRB exams, Examin8 has tailored modules for all. The platform keeps itself updated with the latest syllabus and exam patterns, ensuring relevancy and accuracy.

Use Case: CBSE School Assessment Simplified

Let’s consider a typical CBSE school scenario. A teacher is asked to prepare a mid-term paper for Class 10 Science. With Examin8, the teacher logs in, selects the board (CBSE), class (10), subject (Science), and chapters to be covered. They specify the question types — a mix of MCQs, short answers, and long answers — and define the difficulty mix (easy, moderate, hard).

Within 2 minutes, a complete question paper is ready, fully formatted, syllabus-aligned, and printable. The system even provides an answer key for quick evaluation. The result? Saved hours, reduced errors, and consistent quality.

Use Case: JEE and NEET Coaching Institute

Now take a coaching center preparing students for JEE and NEET. These students need weekly practice tests and chapter-wise assessments. With Examin8, the coaching staff can auto-generate customized question papers from past years’ trends and updated syllabi. The platform even simulates real exam conditions, helping students become exam-ready.

The Power of Automation in Education

As we navigate an era where AI and automation are reshaping every industry, education too must adapt. Tools like Examin8 empower teachers to focus on what they do best — teaching and mentoring — while the tech handles the repetitive and time-consuming tasks. In a sector where time is precious, Examin8 helps educators make every minute count.

Preparing students for competitive exams like CLAT (Common Law Admission Test) is no small feat. The CLAT exam is dynamic, analytical, and paragraph-driven, which makes mock test preparation both essential and time-consuming. If you’re running a coaching institute, you already know how crucial it is to provide quality practice material while managing time and resources efficiently.

This is where Examin8 Test Generator comes in—a revolutionary, white-label platform designed for coaching institutes to create Mock Tests, Chapter-wise Tests, and Full-Length Tests under their own brand name. Thousands of institutes are already using it to save time, scale operations, and enhance the test prep experience for their students.

In this blog post, we’ll walk you through:

  • An overview of the CLAT exam and its pattern

  • Why mock tests are essential for CLAT preparation

  • How Examin8 helps you create CLAT-style tests effortlessly

  • Step-by-step process to create CLAT mock tests on Examin8.com

Understanding the CLAT Exam

The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is a national-level entrance exam for undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) law programs offered by 24 National Law Universities (NLUs) in India. It’s known for its rigorous, comprehension-based format that tests a student’s aptitude and reading ability rather than rote knowledge.

📌 CLAT UG Exam Highlights:

  • Total Questions: 120

  • Duration: 120 Minutes

  • Sections: 5

  • Marking Scheme: +1 for every correct answer, -0.25 (25% negative marking) for each incorrect answer

  • Question Format: All questions are paragraph-based MCQs

📚 CLAT Exam Sections:

  1. English Language

  2. Current Affairs including General Knowledge

  3. Legal Reasoning

  4. Logical Reasoning

  5. Quantitative Techniques

Each section includes passage-based questions requiring deep reading, critical thinking, and application of concepts. This makes it essential for students to practice with realistic mock tests that reflect the exam’s actual pattern.

Why CLAT Mock Tests Are Crucial

Mock tests serve several critical purposes for CLAT aspirants:

  • Familiarity with Exam Pattern: Paragraph-style questions are a distinctive feature of the CLAT exam, setting it apart from many other entrance tests. These questions require students to read and analyze a passage before answering related multiple-choice questions. This format assesses not just factual knowledge, but also comprehension, critical thinking, and the ability to interpret information under time pressure. Regular practice with paragraph-based questions helps students develop reading speed, improve focus, and build the analytical mindset needed for CLAT. It also boosts their confidence by familiarizing them with the exam’s unique pattern, reducing anxiety, and enhancing overall performance on test day.

  • Time Management Practice: Time management is a crucial skill for success in the CLAT exam. With 120 questions to be answered in just 120 minutes, students have exactly one minute per question—often less, considering reading time for lengthy passages. This tight time frame makes it essential for aspirants to practice solving questions efficiently while maintaining accuracy. Regular mock tests help students develop a sense of timing, prioritize easier questions, and avoid spending too much time on a single passage. Mastering time management through consistent practice ensures they can attempt all questions confidently within the allotted time during the actual exam.

  • Strengths & Weaknesses Analysis: Analyzing strengths and weaknesses is a key benefit of regular mock testing for CLAT. Each test provides insights into a student’s performance across the five sections—English, Current Affairs, Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Techniques. By reviewing their scores and accuracy in each area, students can identify which sections they excel in and which ones require additional focus. This targeted approach allows for smarter preparation, helping students allocate their study time more effectively. Over time, consistent analysis and feedback lead to improved performance, better balance across sections, and a stronger overall score in the final exam.

  • Improving Comprehension and Reasoning: Comprehension and reasoning form the backbone of the CLAT exam, as every section revolves around understanding and interpreting passages. Frequent exposure to paragraph-style questions helps students strengthen these core skills. Regular practice trains the mind to quickly grasp the central idea, identify key details, and evaluate arguments—all under timed conditions. It also improves vocabulary, reading speed, and the ability to draw inferences. Over time, this consistent engagement enhances critical thinking and logical analysis, enabling students to tackle complex passages with greater ease. The more students practice, the more intuitive comprehension and reasoning become, significantly boosting their CLAT readiness.

  • Reducing Exam Anxiety: Simulating the actual CLAT exam environment through regular mock tests plays a vital role in reducing exam anxiety. When students repeatedly experience test-like conditions—strict timing, real exam patterns, and paragraph-based questions—they become familiar with the pressure and expectations of the real exam day. This familiarity helps ease nervousness, boosts confidence, and builds mental resilience. Students learn how to manage stress, stay focused, and maintain composure even when facing difficult questions. Over time, this mental conditioning transforms anxiety into confidence, allowing students to perform at their best when it matters most—during the actual CLAT examination.

For coaching centers, offering mock tests tailored to CLAT’s pattern enhances learning outcomes and gives students a competitive edge.

Examin8 – The Smart Test Generator for CLAT

Examin8 Test Generator is a powerful, all-in-one test creation and management platform designed specifically for coaching institutes. Karnataka is home to some of India’s premier engineering institutions, making it a sought-after destination for students aspiring to pursue technical education. Two of the most prominent entrance exams for engineering colleges in the state are the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) and the Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) exam. Each has distinct features, eligibility criteria, and admission processes. This article provides a comprehensive comparison between KCET and COMEDK, helping students make an informed choice.

Overview of KCET and COMEDK

Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET)

KCET is a state-level entrance examination conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA). It serves as a gateway for students seeking admission to government and private engineering colleges in Karnataka. The exam also offers admissions to other professional courses like Pharmacy, Architecture, and Veterinary Science.

Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK)

COMEDK is an entrance exam conducted by the Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka for students seeking admission to private engineering colleges in the state. It is open to students from across India, unlike KCET, which primarily caters to Karnataka domicile students.

Eligibility Criteria

KCET Eligibility

  • Candidates must have completed their 10+2 (or equivalent) from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) as compulsory subjects.
  • Candidates must be domiciled in Karnataka or belong to specific reserved categories with Karnataka residency proof.
  • General category candidates must have a minimum of 45% marks in PCM, while reserved category candidates must have 40%.
  • Candidates seeking medical or architecture admissions need to qualify NEET or NATA, respectively.

COMEDK Eligibility

  • Candidates must have passed 10+2 (or equivalent) from a recognized board with PCM as core subjects.
  • There is no domicile requirement; students from any state can apply.
  • General category candidates must secure at least 45% marks in PCM, whereas SC/ST/OBC candidates must have 40%.
  • COMEDK does not include admissions for medical courses, which are handled through NEET.

Exam Pattern and Syllabus

KCET Exam Pattern

  • KCET consists of three papers: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
  • Each paper carries 60 questions, totaling 180 marks.
  • The exam follows a multiple-choice question (MCQ) format.
  • No negative marking for incorrect answers.
  • The syllabus is based on the Karnataka Pre-University (PUC) curriculum.

COMEDK Exam Pattern

  • COMEDK includes three sections: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
  • Each section consists of 60 MCQs, totaling 180 marks.
  • The exam duration is three hours.
  • No negative marking.
  • The syllabus is based on CBSE and state syllabus concepts from Class 11 and Class 12.

Exam Difficulty Level

The difficulty level of both exams is moderate, with variations based on student perception:

  • KCET: Since it follows the Karnataka PUC syllabus, students from the Karnataka board find it easier compared to CBSE students.
  • COMEDK: Considered slightly tougher than KCET as it is based on a broader syllabus covering national-level standards.

Admission Process and Seat Allotment

KCET Admission Process

  • Candidates must register and appear for the KCET exam.
  • After the results, candidates are ranked based on their KCET scores.
  • Counseling and seat allotment are conducted based on KCET rank, reservation policies, and seat availability in government and private colleges.
  • Government quota seats have lower fees compared to private quota seats.

COMEDK Admission Process

  • Candidates must register and appear for the COMEDK exam.
  • After results, ranks are assigned based on performance.
  • Online centralized counseling is conducted, and students choose colleges based on merit.
  • Seats are available only in private colleges, with relatively higher tuition fees.

Number of Applicants and Competition Level

KCET Statistics

  • 2023: Around 2,61,610 students applied, and 2,44,345 appeared for the exam.
  • The exam is more competitive as it provides access to government colleges with lower tuition fees.

COMEDK Statistics

  • 2024: Approximately 1,18,005 candidates registered, and 1,03,799 appeared for the exam.
  • Since it is open to students across India, competition is significant, but seats are available only in private colleges.

Fee Structure and Scholarships

KCET Fee Structure

  • Government colleges: INR 20,000 – 50,000 per annum.
  • Private colleges (government quota seats): INR 50,000 – 1,50,000 per annum.
  • Scholarships are available for Karnataka domicile students under various state government schemes.

COMEDK Fee Structure

  • Tuition fees range between INR 1,50,000 – 2,50,000 per annum.
  • Higher fees compared to KCET due to private college admissions.
  • Limited scholarship opportunities.

Which One Should Student Choose?

Choosing between KCET and COMEDK depends on multiple factors:

  • If you are a Karnataka domicile student: KCET is the better option due to lower fees, more seats in government colleges, and state reservation benefits.
  • If you are from outside Karnataka: COMEDK is your only option since KCET primarily caters to state residents.
  • If you prefer private colleges: COMEDK is a good choice, especially if you do not qualify for KCET.
  • If affordability is a concern: KCET is more cost-effective due to lower tuition fees in government and government-quota seats.

Conclusion

Both KCET and COMEDK serve as crucial gateways for engineering aspirants in Karnataka. KCET is more popular among state board students and offers a cost-effective route to engineering education, while COMEDK provides an opportunity for students across India to gain admission to top private institutions in the state. Understanding the differences in eligibility, exam pattern, seat allotment, and fees can help students choose the right path based on their needs and preferences.

Ultimately, preparation and performance in these exams determine the success of an engineering aspirant. Whether opting for KCET or COMEDK, focused study, time management, and understanding of the syllabus are key to securing admission to a preferred engineering college in Karnataka.
